SWITCH Modern- ai3 "Vision with Results"

This week ai3 was included in the popular, monthly lecture series sponsored by SWITCH Modern.  An industry event that attracts design junkies, and on this particular evening, a few who have enjoyed ai3's restaurant designs.
Over cheese and Prosecco, we caught up with old friends and made some new ones.  Our goals were to share our process, the success of our Vision Sessions with our clients, and to make our audience aware of the retail, hotel, office, and product design work also being developed in our studio. We appreciate the enthusiasm of all who attended and that we could provide some inspiration for other designers.  Thank you, Roy Otwell, Doug Henderson, and Liz Lapidus for your support of ai3.

Atlanta History Center Announces Design Competition

ai3 would like to announce the upcoming design competition for the Atlanta History Center, sponsored by The Cousins Foundation.

The Atlanta History Center is less than two decades old. But, in that short time span, the city around it and, indeed, the world around it has transformed.

Now, the time has come for the Atlanta History Center to make its own leap forward. The Atlanta History Center is seeking an architectural team to help transform its museum.

Acru opening soon in Woodstock, GA

 

We've been driving up I-75 and 575 for several weeks now, finalizing construction and furniture installations for Acru.  First Cherokee State Bank and CNT Financial in Woodstock, Georgia, have recognized that people are looking for a trusted adviser regarding their money. 

Think of everything that's happened in the banking industry and of the 50+ banks in the state of Georgia alone that no longer exist?!?!  Along with Leader Enterprises and the Acru team, we have developed a brand new retail concept for banking.  We can't wait to share more!

What are we up to?

It's a good sign that we're busy but not good to neglect the blog.  I'm trying to catch up and wanted to share 2 images from text messages. This morning's donut sampling from Sublime Donut, s'more and Reese's cup still the clear favorites. Yesterday Ethan & Amy donned safety jackets and glasses to tour a carpet mill with Durkan Carpets.  Their first mill tour, which was much appreciated.  The 12-foot printing machine looked like a ride at Six Flags.
